It all started when...
my parents bought our first sail boat in the mid 70´s. Our boat was based near to Amsterdam, just a 2 hour ride from my hometown in Germany. During the season we used to spend nearly every weekend on our boat, in the summer holidays we did a lot of long distance cruising. Our sailing trips took us the Baltic Sea (Danemark, Germany), the English Channel Coats (Netherland, England, Belgium, France), the Channel Islands down to the Biscay. In the late 80´s we decided to move our sail boat to the Mediterranean, where we sailed a lot at the France Riviera. From 2010 until 2016 our homeport was Barcelona. I felt in love with this gorgeous city and i decided to leave Germany to live in Barcelona. In 2016 i decided to say bye bye to my job in the event management business and to start a new chapter of my life.
With the experience in sailing since my early childhood, studing 4 years in a seaman school, working on commercial cargo vessels, which took me to The U.S. East Coasts, Brasil and Argentina, i decided to become a professional sailor.
In 2014 i did my Commerical Yachtmaster Lisence and started my first job as skipper on a fantastic Classic 71´ sail boat from 1928, which was based in Ibiza.
In 2015 i went back to Barcelona to work on a very fast race sail boat, doing day and sunset trips. During this 2 years i collected so many very valuable experiences in the charter business with many hundred´s on happy customers from all over the world.
All these nice experiences made me realize:
I have found my destiny!
In 2016 i have started to life my dream - offering sailing and sunset trips in Ibiza.
But why Ibiza?
I totaly felt in love (again) with this super special and beautiful tiny island. For sailors Ibiza is a paradise! Especially if you offer sailing trips with more or less non sailing customers. The weather contidions are very easy, seasickness is not a big thing, because the sea is always very flat. In Ibiza you find so many mindblowing bays, perfect for anchor, swimming and snokeling in cristal clear and warm water. I really love to share this unique experience with other people and it makes me so happy to see that big smile in their faces, realizing that the simple things in life are mostly the bests.
After almost 8 years of experience in the charter industry, we - by that I mean my cooperation partners and I - know the waters around Ibiza and Formentera pretty well, the "places to be", but also bays that are less frequented but extremely attractive . Without exception, our guests are always enthusiastic and grateful for the unforgettable impressions they were able to collect during their sailing tour. In the meantime, many have become "returnees" and friendships have developed.
Class instead of mass
Our cooperation partners have been carefully chosen because we are not interested in simply having a large number of boats in our portfolio. It has to fit conceptually. We are all very service-oriented and take enormous pleasure in actively creating a maximally relaxed atmosphere on board for our guests and also responding to individual requests wherever possible. This requires certain skills that we have learned during our professional activities.
